I'm gonna overthrow the king.
A billion witches on my altar give me step by step in dreams.
They call the poet humble,
I'm gonna be the queen.
Two eyes aren't enough to see what I'm building, you gotta use three.
They say the war is coming.
I say it's said and done.
They say our hands our tied, I say I used one,
to untie the other.
Freedom isn't won, it's choice in every moment,
CHOOSE to claim some.
They say the tide is turning, I say I part the seas.
They say my words are dangerous, I say I speak FREE.
They say the time is now. I say the time ours.
They say that this is how it goes just play the game and do your chores.
I say the writers of the game into my spells and open doors,
to dimensions where they aren't the ones in charge.
They say to worry bout elections, I say we flip the script
My vote is that the people, when united, steer the ship.
United states I say this system isn't working for us.
I vow to be a leader when our leaders all ignore us.
They say the power's in the 1%, I say the power's in our palms and we can handle it.
I say the shift is in my bones and I'm demanding it.
I say it loud 'cause I don't need to hear their voices anymore my grass is short and snakes are vanishing.
I SAY whatever I want and you can too.
I say we do what we know we can do.
